Deb.. I like this... I scrolled down and sorta followed the process..when I got back to the top and enlarged the photo, it is really quite beautiful! I can see from your sketch your intended the horizontal hanging. But the flowing that you desired is 'so there' in the vertical.
Just lovely.... and an inspiration.

Yes, amazing. The irregular edge and the bright colours create a very interesting contrast: Is it old or new? The shape looks worn-out, but it can't be, the colors are fresh, and someone bothered to do this maticulous quilting on a "torn" piece... In a gallery, this would really stop me and make me think!
