Eye candy from the burning deck

It was blazing out on the deck today so I had to work these pieces in stages dashing into the darkened, cool living room to regain my vision. At one point I thought I was working in black and white.

Later, when the game is on, I'll iron all these to heat set the metallic textile paints.

what fun. more later and much of the day tomorrow...

I love these spotted fabrics! starry skies, flowered fields.

You are a brave soul.
When the temperature hits 100 in San Diego, I get up early, work until about 11am and then head inside until the late afternoon.
I love the heat for setting dye, but it wears me out.

It's not that it was so hot..80's I think and breezy. Totally tolerable for Georgia..it was just so blazing Bright out there..I should invest in a sombrero!
