spring cold

Not dropped off the face of the world; it just feels that way.

This deep into the school year and I finally caught a case of Pre-K cooties from my little assistant. I think the remedies laid me lower than the actual cold - I just didn't care as much.

It's a good thing that I can (mostly) do the day job in my sleep. Once or twice last night, I picked up a call, listened to what the person wanted and had no idea what they were talking about. In English.

There are other things that I'm supposed to be doing but the brain is off wandering on cold meds. Stitching in a straight line is as much as I can manage right now.

  1. (((Deb))) stitching in a straight line is beyond me even when I'm firing on all 6 cylinders!

  2. I caught some major COOTIES when I worked at the library--kids sneeze and whatnot all over those books. I made sure I NEVER touched my FACE.

  3. so...Splayed out on invading boogle snot. Yup, I know it well and I'm surprised you can do straight lines. take it easy...codddle her and be kind. Nothing that you are s'posed to needs you as much as you do. I think it's feed a cold/starve a fever so even if you can't smell or taste, eat if you have no fever, and lots of tea juice and water. Ha...listen to me telling you what you already know. Nite nite

  4. thank heaven you can still stitch ... !

Tell me everything!

a grand accomplishment

This is what I want to do next. I just love what Hazel has done with her treasured cloth, her love and time...

Play it again Sam.
