I have some marvellous old cloths, in good repair, bought for songs in markets here in Uruguay and in Aus - and I use them, but take them to be pressed at the drycleaners! Are you sure it is banksias? ie Australian flowers - the other motifs would be interesting to see...this heavy padded whitework, probably Montmellick embroidery, on white linen is rarely done these days. If you lose your nerve to cut it, I will happily pay you for it and give you an address in the USA to send it to so I can collect it next time I go up there! But why not? There's an embroidered table cloth that's been waiting for me to iron it ever since I moved to Tennessee 16 years ago. I can't recall how long it was waiting before packing it up. And then there are the dozen napkins that go with it ... those are ironed, but I haven't used them since we moved either. Thanks for the idea.Nellie's Needleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12468773469685787840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19241214.post-41112603208749889292008-02-13T21:05:00.000-05:002008-02-13T21:05:00.000-05:00Oh wow--with colour that is going to be SMASHING! ...Oh wow--with colour that is going to be SMASHING!
