string theory continued



call me underwhelmed.

they feel a little stiff. I'll give them another wash and rinse and see what comes of it.

  1. Might just be the type of cotton...hemp like! And here I thought these would be great to embroider with..but they still might be!!

  3. I think these would work if laid on the fabric and then "couched" with another type of thread. would show more clearly the variegation of colors. When I did Baltimore Appliqué I often couched (and I am hoping that's the right term) ribbons and other materials that were difficult to thread into a needle onto the surface of the work. I think that might work on some of your abstract appliqué.
