the stash

I'm good on thread for now and the river basket is overflowing. The problem is, I have to set cloth and thread aside for a while so I can prod the book to life.

But there's still plenty. I took all pending orders to the post office this morning so mailboxes across the country will be lighting up by the end of the week. Let me know when they arrive!

Ooh, I see bobbins to the left. Is that dirty thread on them? Do you use it in your sewing machine? If so, how many strands do you wind together? My machine (which I seldom use anymore) has a special bobbin for thicker thread, and suddenly I have an idea for a small project.

No. regular thread. Some Bottom Line. I do use Superior's King Tut variegated cotton. Have a lot of it, in fact. My threads are only ten yards to a spool. Wouldn't want to waste it in a bobbin.
