It took several hard lessons before I learned that anytime you dye with the color fuchsia, it's imperative that you rinse, rinse and rinse again before you wash them, and when you do wash out, DO NOT WASH OUT WITH ANY OTHER COLOR FAMILIES!Not if you don't want those other pieces tinged with pink where they used to be white or other pales. I have ruined entire weekends worth of dyeing by mixing those hotties into the washout loads so carelessly. This bunch will go by themselves but the piece below, a hand appliqued and embroidered vintage hankie (and the three jacquard scarves) are getting the hand treatment!

I don't know if this will work for you but here's what I do and my colors don't run anymore.
After they are dyed and rinsed once just to get the soda ash out, I put the fabric (all of the colors together) in the sink with some synthrapol and pour over enough boiling water to cover. I stir it around a but and put in weights to make sure that every tiny bit of fabric is under water. I leave that over night. Then I run it through the wash (without extra soap) once on hot followed by 2 cold rinses.
It took me a long time to get the right process but this works for me and I put fuchsia, turquoise, black, yellow, pale blue.......everything in the same rinse bath.
