the fix

There. That's better. Some color, even if I'm a little puffy around the edges from too much sleep.

I feel a little more like me evil self today. Yesterday, I finally saw the doctor about my left shoulder. Xrays said no bone fragments or arthritis.

Let her stick an enormous needle full of voodoo juice in the joint and let me have the full jolt. There will be an MRI to see the extent of the damage and then we'll talk about what's possible, repair-wise.

Fingers crossed it's something easy to fix.

if i had my way, i would create a world for us. We would walk through forests and meadows and collect flowers and seeds and plant people, fungus and ferns then sit in the evening, build a fire and steep a poultice. I'd mold it on your shoulder and use one of your magical cloths to tie it in place. We would repeat this. as necessary.

Thank you Grace, everyone. I'm paying now- late and cheaply, I think- for a freewheeling way of being when the bones and ligaments were tough and young.I really thought Tarzan did those things! No regrets. Rotten rotator cuffs seems to be a genetic thing.

You will surely heal and adjust because you are one of the resilient ones and you may even eventually welcome being softer with your dear self.
