delightful chaos

Chaos yes, but no trash or garbage. That was part of the mission yesterday afternoon. Two large bags of Garbage to the recycle and a large box of fabric sent off for someone else to "appreciate". I found whole yards of commercial fabric that I could track back to one of my earliest treks to MaryJo's
maybe six or seven years ago. I know it's going into great hands.

As for the rest of this, little by little I'll dig it out and reorganize along the lines of some new priorities.

Dilemma #1: Can a 10x11 foot room really hold three large comfortable chairs?

and what's with those stupid wire racks taking up air in the closet?

Please don't notify "Hoarders"'s surely not TV worthy.

us quilters understand this!

i'm so embarrassed those people came to see the house and couldn't even walk across the floor. i made sure michael let them know the fabric does not convey. ;)

i have never been to mary jos but i dream one day of going and there's a store in floyd, va that everyone has told me is remarkable but there's nothing else there.

I love that you posted this! It looks just like my studio that I never seem to finish cleaning out/up! I won't call them if you don't!

My 9x12 room looks the same, minus the large closet. I finally realized it is a storage area and my sewing takes place elsewhere. I hear you on those closet organizers. I think a neat nic designed them. I'd replace them with shelves. I always feel like I am on a treasure hunt when I am in my room and usually find what I was look for the previous visit. Good luck!

As Serena says, we understand ;-)

I salivated when I saw that closet. I'd remove the doors and either build in shelves that adjust or get shelving units that can be removed and I'd add a light in there too. There is also space over the window to store smaller things in baskets.

Oh, my... you make me feel like I need to go back to my studio and organize, and there's no time for days! Plus I'm in the middle of a project, and need all my stash flung about in piles! But I did clean out a bunch a couple of months ago, so I should be okay for awhile longer, right? Can't wait to see yours when you're done! Inspiring... ;->
