stitching day

I spent (wasted?) a lot of time wandering the web yesterday and have been inspired by a lot of other people's hand reveries, I picked up where I left off with this one and will spend the rest of the morning with it. I've had my satisfied fill of household chores for the moment.

And so, about those top "all sort of shape pieces"...
do you pick them from a pile of scraps or do
you help with the shaping?
I just love the effect, the variety of shapes
matched upon a whole other shape!
"Pleasure" and "Fresh" are the words that comes to mind!

a little of both. I throw nothing away so the glass scrap jar is mostly for pieces sized less than the palm of your hand. If they need a snip to fit, I'm there and LO, more leftovers!

What? Wasting time on the web? Nonsense! Truly, I am constantly inspired by my visits to blogs like yours! I'll see a post about something, and it sets off an inspiration for something totally different! It's sharing the creative vibes, ya know? ;->

Love it! The colors are fantastic. Did you toss it up and stitch it where it fell (A-la Jude)? It is bautiful.
