Deb.. I like this... I scrolled down and sorta followed the process..when I got back to the top and enlarged the photo, it is really quite beautiful! I can see from your sketch your intended the horizontal hanging. But the flowing that you desired is 'so there' in the vertical. Just lovely.... and an inspiration. I am glad you shared this.
Yes, amazing. The irregular edge and the bright colours create a very interesting contrast: Is it old or new? The shape looks worn-out, but it can't be, the colors are fresh, and someone bothered to do this maticulous quilting on a "torn" piece... In a gallery, this would really stop me and make me think!

this is really wonderful. i think it is an new style and i have to call it one of my all time favorites.
