Somewhere I heard someone say that being a parent is like wearing your heart on the outside of your body for the rest of your life. It's so true.
What did I say? IF the sun comes out at all this weekend I'll take another shot at it but I started physical therapy for my back today and the thought of slowly descending into really cold water makes me kinda clench. We'll see.

girl, you've said more than a mouthful about being a parent!!!
enjoy what you can squeeze out of the summer.
Oh. Yes. Such a beautiful, happy-making handful.
My mother once said something like, "They don't tell you when you become a parent that you'll worry for the rest of your life. It's not just when your kids are little. It's until the day you die." Had a big effect on me.
