whitework to go

I'll be working a stretch of days coming up so I started a second "to go" piece last night. Darn thing kept me up late.
Arlee and Jude have inspired me to some white work to balance out that other dark, intense thing that I'm working on but I'm lugging around about five pounds of threads.

That's strange, 'coz I don't see your work being either dark or intense. To me, it's light and has a certain effervescence about it. I'm going to add a link to this as an addendum to an earlier blog :) It's going to be interesting, I can tell!

Yin and Yang---how we see our own work sometimes, with mood and effect. i like this one *as* a wheel for balance

Thanks Abigail. My sister gave me a set many years ago.

yes, a nice hoop.

My sister Kitty got me that hoop for a Christmas gift many years ago - be fore I even knew what it was good for. My little hoops were my grandmothers. I dread the day that those ancient springs fail.

I came to comment on the lovely hoop too - I see others have had the same thought. I love the yellow and grey fabric, and the spirals you're stitching.

It's a great looking light piece but I like your dark work as well(although I don't really see it as dark either).

I definitely want to see where you go with this. And I love the hoop!
