It's 1:30 in the morning.
Was it the wierd dinner? (A big bowl of cantaloupe chunks, pomegranate arils, topped with broken gingerbread cookies)
Maybe saying goodbye to Littlefeather? My Singer Featherweight has been languishing too long. As part of my Reconnection project a perfect destination was revealed. We'll be at FedEx later today.
(Open yourself to change. Come down from your walls. )
Maybe it was this. I finished Vigil today with the intention of letting it go (if chosen) to the show and beyond.
This was the piece I worked on during Jim's last weeks. Sweetie here is gone now as well.
Today marks twelves years without Jim. I take comfort in the knowledge that I've still had more life with him than without him.
Restless, strong spirits remind me of the business of life. Push the Wheel.

My Feather weight is up in the Attic. In its carry box. I imagined taking it to Quilt Meetings....sewing while chatting or listening to someone else chatting....never happened. Sadly........My quilt Group moved on to Acrylic fabric for the Police Car Blanket Project....Just needed a hem...........action hero. images.
Find a worthy home for it now. Great tools shouldn't become doorstops.
Deb~ Oh man. I can feel the loss here. I can't believe it has been 12 years. So long. Sending you hugs.
"Open yourself to change. Come down from your walls" _ I'm not 100% sure what you meant...but this phrase conjures up a lot for me, so thank you.
I was just thinking about my old sewing machine, which I donated to the COVID Memorial Quilt project back in 6/2021. I know I would not have been using it, even if it would have made some projects easier or more possible. I'm still happy with my choice.
Much love Deb xo
