I started the morning with all good intentions - the only way to a fresh start is with fresh materials - so I pulled a couple of the "mine" bins from the shelf and began eyeballing things. Too many things, as it turned out.
Unfortunately, I also came across FOUR nearly finished small things and my Yankee frugality kicked in and derailed my
boho-creative side
for practical matters at hand. Git '
er done.

LOL! That damn Yankee frugality! Combine that with my Grandmother's "idle hands are the Devil's workshop" and it is amazing that I haven't leapt off a tall building (none exist here, so don't worry. LOL!) I always wondered what I would create in the Devil's workshop, but didn't dare ask. :) Love Voodoo supervising the process.
LOL.. I heard it was the Devil's Playground.. Sounds like a good time to me.
Add to this my indoctrination in "multi-tasking" at Ma Bell who made it clear that we had to do at least two jobs simultaneously if we wanted to get paid for one.
Love the Ma Bell philosophy, Deb! I'm a Ma Gas gal, and we got the same thing when I was on the phones... file applications while you're talking to customers... and it went down hill from there, but I did enjoy most of my time in non-phone jobs! As for idle hands, I always heard "busy hands are happy hands", so mine must be delirious, because they never get to just sit there and twiddle... lol, indeed!
