Charlie Tuesday

My apprentice.

I was about this age when my grandmother put me to the needle and thread.

It was 70 at the park this afternoon.

i love that phrase: 'put me to the needle and thread'.

It could have been, "put me to shelling peas, or grubbing potatoes". It was all the same to her. A way to occupy me.

I spent hours a day with my gramma and we did everything together. I have her picture by the stove. But I should have her picture in the garden. We were out there all day everyday. I think Charlie will love you as much as I love her--still.

Love this! And love that you get to spend time with each other... my time with my grandmas & great grandma is still in my memories, and I love them!
