Slava Ukraini

That sounds so much better than "I am mortified to be an American."

Have you ever felt true cringe from another person's behavior? That Offal Office ambush made me feel like I needed a shower. And even though the well being of my countrymen might hang in the balance, I could not have resisted backhanding the douche beside me and kicking that suit of shit hillbilly in the nuts.

Everyone saw it for what it was, and those trying to deny that Trump is not a Russian asset are fools. He should be arrested for treason, impeached and imprisoned.

That's Venus staring me down.

Down in that tree line Mercury glimmered through the dense horizon atmosphere like a star.

My heart is with distant family. Distance is hardest when there just are no more words. Pictures a poor substitute for hugs or a cup of coffee.

Deb~ yes...the bully filth of it. I was so triggered, but I had to watch and see what is becoming of our country. Horrid awful. I understand about far off family. Not a day goes by that I don't think of them. (((hugs)))

Hello Deb,
I can understand you very well. We are also ashamed of various politicians. Where are the values and virtues? The respect and courtesy towards other nations. Unfortunately, not much different for us either. But we will make things big in small ways. Kind regards, Katja

I hung pieces of peace on my bicycle wheel garden sculpture three years ago when Russia invaded Ukraine ... they are still hanging in there, tattered and faded, much like hope

Beautiful colours Deb !
I'm just amazed that someone like that is leading one of the bigger countries in the world and can effortlessly "make" a victim into a perpetrator . . . really, no words for it . . .

Yes to your words Deb. I would have joined you in your actions ...Disgust is what I feel...Three years ago, I hung a little flag that I had made for Ukraine, planted seeds from a company that donated all of the proceeds of that days' sale to helping Ukraine...long live Ukraine and continued strength to Zelenskyy.

Family distance is hard in the best of times but now, with what we are facing, the urge to want to hug my fifteen year old twin grandson and granddaughter, twin daughters and son-in-law, is so strong. Emails, phone calls are just not the same. We were all together at Thanksgiving, reeling from the election results, wary and concerned but it is so much worse that I could ever have imagined and I have a good imagination.

Just out of curiosity,: are the handsome lads in the photo twins?
