I hate the idea of painting a room a specific color. I get tired of whatever color it is before I'm even finished painting! Instead, I like to hang curtains and let the light coming through color the room. The blue curtains in the master bedroom are getting pretty old and faded but it's a whole lot easier to redecorate here. The new banner is a detail from "As Yet Unbaptized".

I love the new banner! As for 'redecorating', just this past spring I did my first painting of walls since we moved in back in '03! I have about 4 shades I am working with... 3 neutral, one a 'pumpkin spice' for one wall in the living room. I got the hallway and 2 walls in the living room done, but haven't done anything since! Too many other things got in the way...

Are you kidding...no painting since I moved in in 1999...but I recently hung a few more paintings! Haha
