I left for NY as planned on Sunday morning but had no plan for being admitted to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy at the crack of dawn on Monday. Convalescing here for a while
I got to NY midday, with mild discomfort but fever and pain set for real by dinnertime and it was off to the ER at the Rockstar of hospitals, Northern Westchester Hospital...if you must get sick, it's the place to be. The staff, the care and the technology were all the best. My sister Kitty got me there and stayed 'til I was tucked in and diagnosed. The plan is to fly home on Saturday.

thanks everyone...I so hate being sick and incapaciated. Errg.
So I guess that last batch of dyed cloth might go for even longer than planned? Kind of exciting.

I am so sorry! That is such awful pain and recovery takes time and patience. I was stricken on a plane coming home and went directly from airport to hospital. Apparently appendices do not like travel. Be well. Take care.

Sorry I'm coming in on the tail end of this trauma - computer is dying, have new one waiting on the floor - B needs to find time to plug it in and initialize it - whatever. But you, my dear, need to rest so you will heal fast...
